The Erix Ring

A marquise-cut ruby sits at the heart of an open, wrapping design — two gold bands spiral around the finger like a coiled ribbon, meeting the ruby at its widest point rather than framing it in a traditional bezel or prong setting. Round white diamonds trace the length of each curving band, tapering in size as they wind away from the center stone.

The asymmetric, spiraling silhouette gives the ring a sculptural, almost organic quality — more sinuous line than static setting. The deep red of the marquise ruby anchors the eye at the center while the diamond-lined gold coils around it, creating movement that a conventional side-stone setting wouldn't offer. Set in 18K yellow gold, the warmth of the metal deepens the ruby's color rather than competing with it.
