The kite-cut diamonds sit closest to the ear and catch the most direct light, while the emeralds swing freely below, giving the earrings movement that the necklace's fixed pendant doesn't have. Set in white gold with 18K yellow gold prongs on the emeralds, the pair reads as a clear extension of the necklace rather than a simplified version of it.
